Hello monitor-kids,

You can block individual web sites, and chat or IM users. If the game is web based, yes, just block the website for the game.

Rick,

Thanks for replying

The game appears to be not web-based. They have preiously gone tp ogplanet.com and have downloaded files or have received files from friends that they use to play the games. THe one kid appears to use something called a snake application and the other kid it looks like uses something called DWM. When I monitor them using e-blaster I have actually seen them using their laptops and then when I request a report I may find no websites visited. THe keystroke logger for the one kid that uses the snake application is loaded with a ton of keystrokes that on the surface look meaningless because he may be hitting the same letter dozens of times to do something in the game.

My guess is that they use their files (applications) to get to some server to play. But it would appear that they do not have to visit a website, such as Yahoo games, to play.

Any thoughts on how to block. The game in of itself is not a problem. It's just extremely addictive for some kids who don't know when to stop.

The one kid was playing today and here is their program activity. Today they were doing other things (websites, IM) besides CABAL

Here is their program activity

Internet Explorer Tue, Jan 12, 10:41:23 AM 01h, 33m, 35s 919
AOL IM Tue, Jan 12, 09:18:25 AM 00h, 06m, 12s 1434
MS Word Tue, Jan 12, 03:47:51 PM 00h, 03m, 05s 0
Dwm Tue, Jan 12, 09:30:08 AM 00h, 00m, 14s 0

Any thoughts on how to block

Thanks
